PIONEER TRAVEL & TOUR, INC. POLICY
- Reservations:
Reservations are not accepted without payment Deposit amounts
and/or full payment due dates are specified in each tour brochure.
Return the reservation form with your deposit (check, Visa or Master
Card) to Pioneer Travel & Tour, Inc. 820 Winnebago Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031 or as specified on your reservation form.
(Included features are in bold).
- Cancellations
and refund: A full refund
will be made 61 days or more prior to tour departure date.
Cancellation penalties will apply for all cancellations between 60
and 8 days prior to departure. No
refunds will be made for cancellations 7 days or less prior to departure. Cancellation penalties will include an administrative
fee, any unrecoverable deposits to suppliers and any penalties charged by
airlines or land suppliers. Airline
tickets are usually not refundable. Pioneer
Travel reserves the right to cancel the trip due to lack of subscription. In
the event of cancellation of the trip in its entirety a full refund will be
made.
- Trip
Insurance: Only feasible for big ticket vacation packages, check with
your Pioneer Travel Agent.
- Price
Subject to Change: Pioneer
Travel reserves the right to change the listed price of all tours prior to
departure. Cost changes from
supplier, currency fluctuations, and other situations beyond its control may
force Pioneer Travel to change the listed price of any tour at any time.
- Luggage:
The porterage for one piece of luggage per person is included in the
tour price unless otherwise requested. One additional carry-on bag per
person is allowed. Carry-on bags and smaller personal articles are to be
handled by the passenger. Pioneer
Travel & Tour, Inc. cannot assume responsibility for loss of or damage
to luggage or personal items.
- Lodging:
All room accommodations are based per person on number of people per
room. If you are traveling
alone, a single room will be provided and the higher single room rate will
apply. All basic room
accommodations are provided as part of the tour.
Phone bills, room service and other charges are the responsibility of
the tour individual incurring the charges.
- Seat
Arrangement and Rotation: With
the exception of the seats for the tour escort, no seats are reserved on the
motorcoach. On Multi-day tours
all passengers will rotate seats at least once each day at the direction of
the tour escort. Every attempt
will be made to assign airline seats to meet individual requests.
- Alcohol
and Smoking: Smoking is not
allowed on motorcoaches. The
drinking of alcoholic beverages is not allowed on motorcoaches.
- Responsibility:
Pioneer Travel & Tour, Inc. acts solely in the capacity of an
agent on behalf of its patrons and is not liable for injury, damage, loss,
accident, or delay due to any act or default of any company or person
engaged in transporting passengers, their baggage or other property, or
rendering tour patrons any other service, or by the act or default of any
hotel proprietor or servant, or by acts of war or rebellion, or strikes, or
inclement weather, or theft. Pioneer
Travel & Tour, Inc. reserves the right to decline, to accept, or to
retain any person as a member of the tour and to cancel or alter the tour if
deemed necessary.
Walking Ability
All trips are rated under the following system:
1. Very limited walking and activity.
2. Walking limited to
approximately one block at any given time.
3. Average walking
– three blocks or more without hesitation at one time including touring
museums and attractions. 4.
Very active walking. May
include airport departures and multiple climbing on and off trains, and unique
trip inclusions.
